Wantage, Baptist Chapel (Garston Lane)

The chapel in Garston Lane was a barn purchased by the Baptists in the 17th century.
It is shown on the 1912 edition of the Ordnance Survey map but not that of 1937, so presumably was demolished at some time between these dates.
The map clearly shows the chapel standing at the west end of the remaining graveyard (the far end in the picture below),
although I have found one source on the internet that says it stood on the north side
