Wallingford, All Hallows

All Hallows church was demolished in 1643 by Royalists occupying Wallingford castle, who considered it's close proximity would provide
too much of an offensive position for Cromwell's forces.
The graveyard still exists & it's closeness to the castle can be seen below - the sunken area to the right is the outer castle moat.
